These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website https://hntautomation.co.uk (the “Service”) operated by HNT Automation LTD (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and any purchases made through the Service.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service or place an order.

Orders and Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in British Pounds Sterling (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT at the current UK rate (20%) will be added at checkout.
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase our services or products. We will confirm acceptance of your order by sending a confirmation email. A binding contract is formed when we send this confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund.
We make every effort to ensure pricing is accurate. If we discover an error in the price of a service or product you have ordered, we will contact you to inform you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Services
Acoustic Imaging Surveys
Our acoustic imaging survey service includes:
- Up to 8 hours on-site survey time
- Travel within 50 miles of Peterborough (additional travel costs may apply beyond this radius)
- Detailed PDF report delivered within 48 hours of the survey
- Follow-up consultation call
Scheduling: After placing your order, we will contact you within 2 working days to arrange a mutually convenient survey date.
Site access: You are responsible for ensuring we have safe and appropriate access to the areas to be surveyed. If we are unable to carry out the survey due to access issues not communicated in advance, we reserve the right to charge for the visit or reschedule.
Custom quotes: For sites requiring a half-day survey or sites outside our standard coverage area, please contact us for a custom quote before ordering.
Payment
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link by Stripe.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details. All transactions are encrypted and handled in accordance with PCI DSS requirements.
Payment is taken in full at the time of placing your order.
Cancellation and Refunds
We want you to be completely satisfied with our services. Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:
Services (Surveys and Consultations)
- 72 hours or more before the scheduled date: Full refund.
- Less than 72 hours before the scheduled date: No refund, as we will have reserved time and resources for your booking. We will offer to reschedule to an alternative date at no additional cost.
- If we cancel or reschedule: If we need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date at your choice.
Products (Physical Goods)
- Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, for any reason.
- To exercise this right, contact us at contact@hntautomation.co.uk stating your order number.
- Goods must be returned in their original condition and packaging at your cost.
- We will issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
- This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund, repair, or replacement.
How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 working days.
Limitation of Liability
Our acoustic imaging surveys and reports provide information and recommendations based on conditions observed at the time of the survey. While we use professional-grade equipment and apply 29 years of engineering experience, we cannot guarantee specific savings figures, as these depend on factors including your repair actions, system conditions, and energy costs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the price you paid for that service.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including loss of profit, revenue, or data) arising from the use of our services or reports.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including text, images, logos, reports, and survey data — is owned by HNT Automation LTD or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Survey reports provided to you are for your internal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publish our reports without our written permission.
Your Responsibilities
When using our Service or receiving our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when placing an order or communicating with us.
- Ensure safe access to your premises for survey work.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Not use our website for any unlawful purpose.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
